IRS Payment Plans
An IRS Payment Plan is an agreement between an individual and the IRS to pay the taxes owed within an extended timeframe. Agreements with the IRS range from short to long term depending on a person’s tax debt and financial position. Long term plans do accrue interest and fees, and the application process can be convoluted without proper guidance.
Offers-In-Compromise
An Offer In Compromise is an agreement between the taxpayer and the IRS that settles the taxpayer’s tax liabilities for less than the amount owed. Generally the IRS will not accept an offer unless is is greater than or equal to the the reasonable collection potential, which measure a taxpayers ability to pay.
Subordination of Liens
We specialize in working with the taxpayer and the IRS to have tax liens that have been placed on real estate by the IRS released or subordinated so the taxpayer can have the option to sell or refinance their home.
